Frequently Asked Questions

What do you need from me to build my site?

We will need details of your business. Perhaps you already have a brochure or some marketing text?

If not, we will interview you to find out about your business, your goods or services and the way you work.

All web sites look better for the inclusion of images. If you have photographs (to which you own rights!) we will use those. If not we will source suitable royalty free images to enhance your site.

What do I get for my money?

This does depend on which one of packages you decide to buy. The product packages are very detailed we invite you to explore those and then contact us (email or telephone) if you have any other questions

What other support do I get?

Maintenance clients are fully supported in accordance with the terms and conditions of their maintenance agreement. DIY clients are offered membership over at www.ibusinessed.com which provides access to a comprehensive training and support library in additional to a support forum.

Our team are available to offer additional support as required and this is charged under the ad hoc maintenance arrangements.

What happens if I want to move my site?

You are at liberty to move your site files at any time. You have access to your own hosting account and are free to do whatever you want. If you require assistance to move your site this can be offered but will be charged at ad hoc maintenance rates.

Who owns my domain name?

You own everything we register on your behalf. We encourage clients to register their own domain names through our recommended Registrar Namecheap.

I thought I’d be able to manage with the DIY option but find I can’t. Will you help?

Of course. You can change your arrangement with us and upgrade or downgrade your service level at any stage. Just let us know.

I’ve got a website but it isn’t appearing on search engine listings. Can you help?

We undertake search engine work through a sister site found at www.seomarketingmavens.com

What are keywords and how do I work out which ones are best to use?

Keywords are the relevant phrases, that best describe your business and which are most likely to be typed into a web search engine. By selecting the keyword phrases which have the most search queries and the least competing pages you stand a better chance of being well ranked in the search engines. A keyword strategy is just one part of effective search engine optimisation.

We will undertake keyword research for you and make recommendations. Please see our other services

Do you have a question for us? Please use the contact form and we will respond and include it here if it has wider relevance. Thanks!
